I watched Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ - the silent movie from 1925 last night and really enjoyed it. I tried to find some of big stars that played extras in it, but couldn't find any. It has Myrna Loy, Harold Lloyd, Clark Gable, and Gary Cooper all playing extras.

I might try to watch Creature from the Black Lagoon on Watch Instantly tonight.
I watched The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian in the theaters today. it certainly was not as good as the first. Also it was really really long!
War movies and more war movies:

The Thin Red Line I hadn't see it in a while. Gorgeous film.
Ride with the Devil. Civil war drama told from the southern perspective. Meh. 3 stars.
No Man's Land Serbian film about soldiers from opposite sides stuck in-between enemy lines. Pretty good. 4 stars.
That Saving Private Ryan overshadowed TTRL upon their initial releases made me hate Spielberg even more!! ;)
TTRL is a gajillion million times better than SPR.
Classics!

You'd have to seek it out, but stay far away from Blackenstein.

OTOH, Dr Black and Mr Hyde and Sugar Hill (voodoo zombies) were both groovy and its a shame they haven't had proper DVD releases.
The main villain guy as well as the voodoo priestess had me in stitches. However, Marki Bey is certainly no Pam Grier.
Juno, I liked it and I thought the dialoge was fun.

Up next (Again I hope) is Mystic River.
I just queued this one. Incredibly I have 500 in my Instant queue.
Nice work, CHawk -- I'm only up to 314 in my IW queue.
Ummm...that was an accident, and i don't feel like re-writing....i don't even know how that happened - synopsis of deleted post: Starting Out in the Evening - 3stars
Ghost Rider. It was okay.
