I watched Madagascar again. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I watched Wonderland last night, still trying to figure out if it was as good as I thought at the time. I am still digesting it.
Next I am going to watch The Fountian. It is PG 13 so I think I can watch it around my kids.
If you have not watched this yet ... your kids may not get it. I personally loved The Fountain, but a friend of mine thought it was too visual with no content whatsoever. We had a lengthy discussion after watching it.
My kids ended up loving it. My daughter less interested than my son but the symbolism was beautiful. I have said it at Netflix and now here I am so glad that it was so much better than the description.
I saw it a couple of months ago too. Actually, I went on to IMDB and read as much as I could about it afterwards and got a lot of different opinions from there.
Are you referring to [SPOILER JUST AHEAD!!!] incest? Yeah, its in there.
A friend of mine with two middle-school-aged kids almost put that movie on with the kids in the room. I doubt they would have followed the events, but my friend (a high strung worrier-mom) definitely would have freaked that the kids might subconsciously pick up on it and become psyckokillers.
I watched Ugetsu last night and I just didn't like it. I just don't like watching stupid people, but I really did try to give it a chance to be a great film like others tell me it is.
I also saw Jean Renoir's Grand Illusion and really enjoyed it. It is easy to see where other prison break movies get their inspiration from this.
Finally starting Heroes: Season 1, but I'm only three episodes in so far.
