i'd have to say the movie that actually made me get up & walk out was "House of the Dead" that movie is so bad that the director should have been thrown into a pit of his own lame zombies. 'nuff said.
I love love love love love love Douglas Adams' books so I was very excited to go see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy . I made it like 20 or 30 minute and then walked right out and asked for my money back. Ugh!
Heck yeah, I did ask and they did give me my money back. They will generally give you a refund if you leave less than half way through the movie and show them your ticket stub. I used to work at a movie theatre in high school and I would work the box office so I know all the tricks to getting good customer service at the movies. :)
I never understand those people who watch the whole thing and then try to get a refund because they didn't like it. And then they try to argue that they didn't dislike it until the end, so they didn't leave earlier.
Oh geez, I know what you mean, but I can tell you that (at least at the theatre where we worked) the manager would almost always approve the refunds if the customer requested it, no matter how lame the reason.
only two movies i ever walked out on. the ring two and bug.
bug within 30 minutes or so pretty much everyone was walking out.
the ring two i was on a date. we both fell asleep lol. he woke up then woke me up and we left.
omg, bug was really bad. ring 2 an ex girlfriend took me to see it since she figured i liked ALL horror films. i never spoke to her again after that. LOL
lol. yeah bug was so bad. my friend and i tried to sit through it since we paid the 8 bucks. But after about 30 minutes people were walking out. We stayed for a few more minutes but we couldnt take it anymore. As far as the ring two, ugh! what crap! the only reason we stayed ong for that one is cause we snoozed. lol
