I have noticed alot of peoples avatars and names are very unique. So I was wondering why did you pick that avatar and name? What does it represent, what movie is if from. Explain...Curious minds want to know :)
Well my avatar is a picture of myself, I picked it because I like it and my name is Janine so I figured thats what I would use, pretty boring I guess.
Honestly don't know, I went to a party that had being going on for a while and this drunk guy says I will call you Slappy and unfortunately one of those that never let's things drop was there and made sure forever after that the name stuck. No I don't know why he decided Slappy over anything else but yeah that was it, he appointed and she made sure it stuck. So honestly no one really knows why that was the nickname of choice including the person that picked it.
My picture is of myself and I love wolves so my SNs vary on different websites related to wolves. Like here it's RaisedByWolves, on other sites it's SpiritOfTheWolf, and others have different variations. Wolves are my favorite animal. The tattoo you see on my shoulder is the silhouette of a wolf howling at the moon.
I designed my avatar using Hero Machine. And for the record I was the first to do so. I enjoy fantasy movies with barbarian sword fighting such as Conan and He-man, which is why I designed my avatar the way I did.
Well my avatar has been cartooned and is a picture of me performing live at a gig in Chicago so I guess you can say my avatar is really me and the name although not my given name I have had it since i was 16 and still use it to this day.It really fits who I am I guess
Aqua Teen Hunger Force is one of my favorite shows. Mostly because each episode is the length of my attention span. One of the characters, Meatwad, has an imaginary friend made from a cardboard box named...Boxy Brown. Also a nod to a blaxploitation film. A genre that I also love.
Great question! I was wondering about everyone's choice of avatar's myself.
Mine is a picture of my baby, Lily, taken when she was 5 weeks of age. Yeah, I'm a bitch, but not in the canine sense, though I do bite on occasion.
She turned 10 this past March 2 and still my best bud. Here's a recent pict of her sticking her tongue out at me lounging on my papasan chair. Hard life, eh?
I used to have a have a website in college called, chickslovekungfuflicks that me & a few girlfriends started & updated for those 4 years. We reviewed all kinds of hong kong cinema (mostly action) from a female perspective. Of course, Bruce was our fave so the pic of Bruce Lee laughing was part of our logo. Its the only picture I've ever seen of him like that, looking so happy and carefree, and everytime I look at it, it makes me smile & remember those days; such a long, long, long time ago...the name I kinda reworked from another website lovehkfilm.com that I use to keep updated on all things HK cinema. It was either that or Shaolin Girl so I went with the more ambiguous one.
