Your Feature Wishlist

What do you still want to see on the Netflix site? (Let's leave out the obvious few since we know about them and know how much you want them: >500 things in queue, 1/2 stars, mac-based instant watching, linux support, 7-day shipping, etc.)

Permalink Reply by Rob on March 12, 2009 at 6:22am: I agree with having a reminder indicator of already rented dvds and instants. I've been a member since 05 and Just started rating my movies to help in this matter but that doesn't help me with movies rented prior to me starting this.

Just recently this did happen to me. Not one but two of my movies that came in at the same time were ones that I had already seen but forgot about.

Ultimately what I would like to see is, The button where it says "ADD, SAVE, PLAY or IN QUEUE" There should be a new one that says "PREVIOUSLY VIEWED" or just "VIEWED" that way it could apply to both instant and rented titles.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Ellen on March 12, 2009 at 10:15am: There are two options - either rate them as you watch them and the yellow stars can be your at-a-glance indicator, or if you're in doubt, click on the title. There will be a blue box at the top of the page letting you know when you last returned the title to us if you've already rented it or watched it online. (Now, if you rented it from somewhere other than Netflix, that doesn't quite work, of course :) ); ▶ Reply to This

When I go into some of my faves, its too time consuming to hunt through their reviews to try and find out if they have watched and reviewed a particular movie.

And I agree with CullensGirl. I'd like to type in a keyword and be able to look at top 10 lists with my interests rather than NF deciding which lists they think I would be interested in.; ▶ Reply to This
