I watched Not Another Teen Movie which is always good for a laugh. Then i watched Misery one of my favorite movies. After that i watched Ichi the Killer which was alright but not what i expected. Then i watched Shrek always liked the first one the best.
lol, no i didn't loose any money, but i know how it is to loose your ass, been there, done that and still haven't learned. Yeah i have a bit of a problem with movies, that's all i watch. Since half the garbage on tv is just that. I'd sooner watch movies.
We watched Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day - 4 stars. Up next was In Bruges, which I'm sorry to say, we didn't like as much as I thought we would. I might still be harboring unfortunate visions of Colin Farrell in Alexander.
The Sunday night comfort viewing currently running is The Spy Who Loved Me, for my money the best of the Roger Moore Bond films.
Serenity was ok. I watched it because some good folks here suggested it. I tried my best to love it but it didn't generate much reaction at all. Just a decent sci-fi. Nothing special really.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1916)
which is currently on Netflix Instant Watch (until October 1, 2008)
I'm having fun watching these old silent movies online.
3 and 1/2 stars
Up next: Otar Iosseliani's Monday Morning / Lundi matin (2002) Winner of the Silver Bear Prize for Best Director and the FIPRESCI Prize
("for his very professional and elegant portrayal of the absurdity and boredom of everyday life") at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival.
Mask This movie i haven't seen in years, it was on the dish this afternoon so i had to watch it. It's a very good movie and has a pretty good message in it about how people shouldn't judge other people before they get to know them, no matter what they look like. I give it 4 stars.

While flipping channels on the tube yesterday I found Ice Road Truckers S2 (4 stars). A friend told me I should check it out so I did. It was a marathon and I watched the whole day. Added season 1 to my queue.
The Transporter 2 - Decent sequel to a decent original. I don't really have much to say about it. Lots of action and pretty ladies. Worth watching. Jason Statham Rules! 4 stars.
Date Movie - This is what happens when I let someone else handle the movie-renting and alcohol-buying... I would have rather watched pretty much anything else. Anyway, this lives up to the level of quality we've all come to expect from this series - It's just as unfunny as the other "Movie" movies. I'm not sure that simply re-filming scenes from other movies and making them less funny than they were originally counts as "parody". Not even worth a rating. I had no idea that Alysson Hannigan was this desperate for work. Oh, and the wine sucked, too.
Love on a Diet - Cute Chinese romantic comedy. Not mind-blowing or even really that great but it was pleasant to watch and basically did everything that I wanted it to do. Sammi Cheng was delightful as usual. Good movie. 4 stars.
I think you might be interested in this 12-minute horror film. It's congressional testimony from a programmer who worked for a Florida computer company...I plan on seeing Uncounted, but frankly this stuff makes me feel nausea the entire time I'm watching.

A lot of movies that were not easily available to begin with often go to Save due to DVDs being damaged or lost.
