I was just wondering because I've never used this feature, but if one was to add a new profile queue would they be charged more money or would it remain the same price?

Example: Account Owner 3 dvds at a time for $20
Profile #2 3 dvds at a time; would there be an extra charge of $20 or would it be basically $0.

Thanks.

Sub-Queues can be added at no additional charge. However, once created, currently it cannot be deleted.

I think what you're asking is what would be the cost if you had two profiles on the same account with 3 movies dedicated to each profile. To do that you'd have to be on the 6 at a time plan, and specifically assign 3 slots to each profile. In which case it would cost $36+tax a month.

Now, if you wanted to stay on the 3 at a time plan yet have two (or more) profiles, you would only be able to have 3 out at any given time across all profiles, but it would still cost you $17+tax a month.

In other words, it doesn't really matter how you configure your profiles. If you have one profile or five, you're still going to be charged whatever amount is associated with your specified plan.

OK, so right now I'm standing on 6 at a time, so I couldn't have 6 on one profile and 1 or 2 on another? It would have to be divided between the two; 3 on one profile and 3 on another? Is that correct?

Correct. Though it can be 1 and 5 etc. too.

That bites, I was kind of hoping to be able separate my blu-rays and my standard dvds to different profiles. You know, like be able to watch 24 season 5 for work and 1 or 2 blu-rays for home.
I think it's too bad that Netflix can't have some kind of 2 accounts on one type of thing, have one queue dedicated to SD dvd and one queue to Blu-Ray on the same payment plan but with say 1 or 2 dollars per month attached to your payment plan for the blu-rays. Oh, well.

I don't understand what the difference is. Right now you can have multiple profiles (which means multiple queues), and you can arrange those any way you like, all under one account umbrella.

But you want....wait, I don't understand what you're asking for that doesn't already exist. Me confused.

Zeb- Get a second account using a different email address.

Then one can be Blu and the other standard.

Also save $2 by getting two 3 at a time instead of one 6 at a time.

That's right.

You can also set up another profile without assigning any discs to it. Some people do that when their primary queue is already at 500 yet they have more movies they want to see. Sort of a placeholder queue.

Here's what I did with my sub-queue.

In my case, the main queue is the family queue spots 1-15, with 16-500 being my queue. All ratings and recommendations are mine. All of the 3 at a time come from the main queue. (For the top 15, I get every third pick; my wife gets a third and the three kids rotate into the third third.

Each of the other 4 family members have a queue, and get their own ratings and recommendations. I manually add their choice into #15 when there's room. I've made each of them friends, so I can add from their queues while still logged into the main account.

i have two queues. They are both mine but one is my mothers. I use hers for tv series. And when she actually wants to watch a movie i add it to the list and bump it p to the number one spot for her. She never get chances to watch movies so it usually all mine lol. I find its easier that way then having all the tv series in my queue which is already at about 450 movies. What i also started doing to save space is when i add a tv series if im not sure i will like it or not i just add the first disc. Then after i get that disc in and watch it and se that i like it then i go back and add all the discs. As far as my queue im always changeing things around in there lol.
