TV Shows that Never had a Chance

Shows that only had one season or less, but should have lived on for years.

My pick would be Earth 2.
The story lines were well planned out and the characters were distinct.
I loved that it was not another Sci-Fi show that depended on
half-naked women and crazy space creatures that you only saw for one episode.

Firefly is, of course, the other big one that is mentioned over and over. Fox is notorious for slaughtering intelligent TV. I'll put Arrested Development in this category, too.

The other one for me? Whoopi. That was laugh-out-loud-and-almost-wet-your-pants funny, but it had two huge strikes against it. First, it was put up against American Idol. Second, it came out in a political climate that was ultra-conservative. If that show had premeired in 2007, it would be a runaway hit.; ▶ Reply to This
