A Netflix Community

Is anyone else experiencing this? It started happening for me a couple weeks ago. Whenever I go to my "Friends and Faves" page, the page shows up but everything is blank until I reload the page. The slider boxes with my friends names show up but they are empty... no movies showing, no arrows to advance the list, nothing. Only after I refresh the page (sometimes I have to do it more than once) will the page fill in with the expected content.

This only started happening a couple weeks ago after one of the recent upgrades (the site had been down for a few hours during the night, the next day this problem started happening for me). It's not a cache or a cookie thing as I've already tried clearing all of those but the problem persists. It doesn't happen every time, but I'd say 9 times out of 10. Not a huge deal but it's pretty annoying.

yeah, this is a problem for me as well. I'm using the new Firefox 3 browser on my mac. Not sure if that is part of the problem.

Hmm. I just tried it out in the safari browser and it worked fine. Maybe a problem between flash and the new FF v.3 browser

I'm having that same problem with several websites I visit - using Firefox 3 (or Firefox 2 for that matter) I occasionally, and randomly, load page that is blank. It appears correctly if I just hit the reload (refresh) button. I figure it's something to do with the browser that someone will fix someday, and it's not a big deal to me - I just hit reload.

Hitting reload does not fix this specific problem I was describing on Netflix unfortunately :(

I am not so uptight about online reply but it would be nice. I have looked up and around their "Help Center" as they suggested for a phone number. Every company has a phone number for customers assistane. I paid them twice in a month becuase I updated my profile and changed my email. They continue to use the old email. So I opened a new account and that is when the started usin g the correct email. Hoping the movies on the list would rollover including the old account I cancelled the new a/c. The old a/c got cancelled and which was paid up to Jan 28, 09. Today is 22nd.

What I have just found out after about 2 hours in writing the previous reply is that you have to be a member to have the phone number avaialble. Hope it helps.

I've got this problem, too. But refreshing isn't helping. This is one of the most important features of Netflix for me. I hope it gets fixed soon.

(Of course, then, they'll remove multiple profiles and there will be nothing left to like about Netflix).

This has been happening to me since I upgraded Firefox. Refreshing doesn't help.
