What are your picks for great battle scenes??

What's your input for a flick with a great battle scene?
I'm starting w/ classic battles - you decide if modern-ish gunfights count.

Could be because of cinematography, the action, the accuracy, the impact it made on you.

I still love the film, I just don't like the real him very much anymore. If you were talking war battle I might say Hamburger Hill for some seriously twisted battle scenes but Full Metal Jacket and Platoon both rival it for some scenes.; ▶ Reply to This

All 6 star movies for me!
The 300 and Braveheart had great scenes and I really liked the beginning of Saving Private Ryan although I hated the rest of the movie.
