Has anyone had a problem playing the Reservation Road dvd? I've had two copies sent and both do not play. The dvd player locks up and keeps saying that it's loading. Other netflix dvds work fine. Both copies seem to have a very small scratch or crack at the center of the disc. I considered that I might have gotten the same dvd twice, but realized that they sent the second one before they received the first one back. It seems odd that two copies in a row wouldn't play, especially since this is a relatively new release.. I wonder if this could be a problem with the manufacturing of the dvds?
If they are burning DVDs in house (I think they have agreements to do this with some titles), they may be using DVD-R/RW. Older DVD players may not play this format -- you can get the "loading" screen or some players will just puke the DVD back out.
There is speculation that the gray disks that just say "Netflix" on them were burned per some sort of licensing agreement. I used to get quite a few of them, but the number seems to have dropped dramatically.
TMN-are the disks you received all gray or do they have the usual kind of label?

Where can I pick me up one of these licensing agreement forms? I'd like to start up a little side business. I promise to only dupe the new releases and rent them you fellow Ningers for a nominal fee.

Both copies were of reservation road were grey. I noticed a few months ago that most of the discs I get are grey. This is the first one I've had a real problem with though.
My copy wouldn't play either.
Does Netflix know about this? I think they need to know that all their Reservation Road copies aren't playing, but surely they've been notified....right?
