ANYONE ELSE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH INSTANT WATCH TITLES?

Recently I have been seeing a lot of movies from the instant watch section that are really distorted or are just completely out of sync. Is this just me?

What titles have you had these problems with so I know what not to watch?

Hi jloera, welcome to the community. Hope you stick around and talk about movies. :)

There is a group devoted to instant watching that you may find interesting. It is called Watch Instant - Treasure Hunters. They have a discussion going about titles with issues and you may want to add the one you had trouble with.

Ultimately you'll want to make sure to call Netflix and talk to a customer service rep directly about the problems you are having and hopefully they can help you.

Starz is a rolling deal, so as the Starz channel gets new content each week, it appears on Netflix as well, so it doesn't get "played out". Also there is a report in the New York Times today that the first 9 seasons of South Park are coming to instant watch....

Since the new silverlight player has been forced out I have problems with EVERY SINGLE INSTANT TITLE I watch. The video is unstable, pixelated, the audio does not stay in sync and the picture is jittery. Since switching about two weeks ago I have not been able to watch one movie satisfactorily. I have made multiple calls to tech support and they have eluded to bad connection (I spent $80 having Verizon come out and check the connection to find nothing wrong), my computer isnt "fast" enough. I have a dual core AMD 64 running at 2500 with 4 gigs of RAM. My video card has 512 megs of RAM on it. Yet we can watch on my girlfriends account with her Dell laptop running a 1.2 meg processor and 512 of RAM just fine. She has not yer been forced into the new player. Everything BUT the new player has been suspect in this problem. It makes no sense that the older player works fine on the same internet connection but the same connection is "jumpy". It makes no sense that my faster, bigger and better desktop is slower than her laptop. I am so VERY unhappy with NETFLIX for forcing this change. I want the old player back so I can enjoy the quality I used too. Otherwise NETFLIX should drop the price....because the quality has certainly dropped.
