They're there. You just have to know what a good movie is first. Several months old does not equal bad.

A lot of the IW films ARE blockbusters. Just not NEW blockbusters. Studios will not let distributors offer all-you-can-eat streaming of new movies.
i (we) want some quality new releases and actual blockbusters to be able to watch.
Use iTunes. They rent new movies for about $2-5 each.
if im going to be a ongoing subscriber i would appreciate quality films to watch.
Movies older than 3-4 months aren't quality movies?

Therefore, you can stream Netflix movies to your Xbox via the Instant Watch service.
The X-Box thing is brand new so that might be why some stuff isn't available you just have to be patient. And as for not wanting DVDs in the mail then netflix really isn't the way to go for you is it? I would recommend all the torrent sites or other sites that put stuff online to watch. It might be more up to par w/ your taste in movies and there are none of those pesky dvd things.
Sony has blocked some WatchNow movies (Sony movies) on the Xbox 360. You can watch those on the PC though. It does not sound like Netflix is the right choice for you though.
You can get around the Sony block on the Xbox 360 but it doesn't sound worth it for you since you only seem to want new movies streamed.

I agree 100%. This is the worst selection of movies ever. For every 1 good movie there are 10 that totally suck. It's rather demeaning that netflix and xbox thought that people would be happy with this service as it is. These two companies have been pumping this service up for months.
I don't want movies to come to my house. This was supposed to be the "new" way to watch movies. If the "new" way consists of watching Beastmaster, Tank Girl and Clash of the Titans, it's not too new is it??
We are paying for a service. It's Netflix responsibility to make that service worth paying for.
That acutally hurt cause Beastmaster and Clash of the Titans are two of my most favorite films growing up and I still pull out my old DVDs every couple of months and watch them.
Mark Singer in a loin cloth, Tanya Roberts Nude, and Ray Harryhausen special effects. Come on what's not blockbuster about those movies?
and pihkal020 your so called cutting in and your hinderance on this forum is not useful in disscussions. you would be more helpful if you went and putz'd off
