How long does it take for the soul to leave the body?

Watched a very powerful movie that left this question open at the end of it but I can not remember what the movie was called. Anybody remember this one?

21 Grams is a great movie. I never liked Sean Penn until I saw him in this one.

I love 21 Grams! Becca, if you like that one, should try the following films as well, if you haven't seen them: Things We Lost In The Fire, Half Nelson, Crash (with Sandar Bullock).

Dying, when done well, is a fascinating topic for a film. I thought that Evening and Stay did it very well, though many seem to disagree. 21 Grams is in my queue. Now, I'll look forward to seeing it even more.

Afterlife is a beautiful film.

Want to know something ridiculous? It takes precisely 0 seconds for the soul to leave the body since it is the body. Want to know how I know this and where I got it from? The bible. Eccesiastes 9:5 states, "For the living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all..." Genesis 2:7 states, "the man (it's talking about Adam here) came to be a living soul." I love how thousands of religious fanatics have gotten this wrong. I have found a boatload of scriptures like these to support this. The Hebrew word used for Hell is literally translated "the common grave." Trust me, I'm no religious obsessor and it was relatively easy for me to find proof of this information. Thought it was intresting... Check it out if you don't believe me. I didn't settle for anything that wasn't concrete. I want to see that film now.

Yeah, that is ridiculous.

You mean, religulous, right?

No, I was referring to Micah Blowers' inability to comprehend a text.

Can you tell me what the Dead Sea Scrolls say?

It's a secret you ninny.

As far as time for souls to leave the body, that depends on how hungry I am.

Anything even remotely in reference to religion is a sensitive matter. It wasn't my intention to weird anyone out. I apologize if I did.
