Movies with the same name - help build a list.

Update - 9/14/08 - Movies with the same name - Alphabetically (#-Z) New Home for the list. See you all there.

NOTE: I'll be working on the titles that have been contributed but haven't been added yet. They'll be posted eventually in the appropriate page.

However, I wanted to throw out an idea to everyone who has contributed in helping make the list, what it is.

What do you all think of a group that was setup so that titles could be found alphabetically? Also have been toying with the idea in my head of a comprehensive database of all titles that NF offers (of course it is a huge task, but with a lot of people helping out, it would be that much easier).

I'd like to hear what everyone thinks and please critique my ideas presented and perhaps we could come up with something helpful.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Howard on August 19, 2008 at 2:07pm: With the list you already have, I'd think putting it into a excel or some kind of spread sheet might be useful, it could be updated every week, month or bi annually and posted as an attachment for those who seek to download it.

Personally, I think Netflix has done a fairly good job at posting movies with similar or same names. They give you a choice to pick between the ones your looking for. So I haven't had much problems in terms of confusing a title with the same name. I'm up for which ever way you guys decide on handling this, I can continue posting here or in another designated thread.; ▶ Reply to This

However, a group that just specializes in "Same name titles" might not have as many people available in the General Discussions forum to contribute titles. But then again, I could be completely wrong about that. :-D
