Tell Us The Last 5 Movies You Rated 1 Star - What Are They?

Check your DVD rental activity and Instant Watch activity . Click See Complete History at the bottom to see them all.
Let us know why if you want to or just list the last 5 you hated. We all like different things and some movies I hate are others favorites.

Here's my list:
1. The Haunting in Connecticut
2. Fur
3. Flickering Lights
4. Beyond Rangoon
5. Lady Vengeance - I will say I gave Oldboy and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance 5 stars but hated this third movie of the trilogy.

Went through my whole history and couldn't find a single 1 star rating. Not that I haven't rated films 1 stars, it's just they're not movies I'm renting through netflix.

Doesn't need to be NF YnEoS. Throw those bad movies out here for us!

Mine aren't all from NF but I used those links cause so many people on here are members. I rent from BlockBuster.com and watch on HULU.com, Joost.com, IMDB.com and pbs.org as well as TV channel sites and I actually go to the movies. Heck I can find movies I hate all over the place.

I was absolutely crazy about "Pieces of April" (5 Stars). Patricia Clarkson was a scream and
K. Holmes was cute as a button. A true delight and a surprise.

My reviews of these movies (I've been writing a review of every movie I've watched for the last year or so):

1. Tidal Wave: No Escape: Another Corbin Bernsen instant low budget "classic." Where did the talent we saw in "L.A. Law" go? Very low production values (it is laughable how poorly the backdrops appear), a story that is ridiculous in its concept and beyond ludicrous in its resolution, and several built in opportunities to see Bernsen with his shirt off. Watch at your own risk.

2. Sugar Sweet: I imagine this was supposed to at least be titillating, however production values were so poor and the film so blotchy (like much of it was shot with a video camera) that you really couldn't make heads or tails of the sex scenes. The story is weak, and the acting was on the poor side of decent as well. The ending was not surprising either. On the whole, shabbily made and not very interesting, even in a prurient way. Don't waste your time.

3. Return of the Pink Panther: This movie was terrible. For something I assume was supposed to be funny, I didn't laugh (or even chuckle) a single time throughout. Sellers pratfalls and bumbling were not even mildly amusing. The storyline was very thin -- heck there wasn't really a storyline, just Clouseau following around the wife of the suspected thief. There were no clues given to who did it, and then the answer is sprung on us with little explanation. Possibly the worst comedy I've ever seen (and if it is supposed to be a mystery instead of a comedy - it IS the worst mystery I've ever seen). Totally lacks charm, wit, and reason. Not worth a moment of your time

4. Sublime: This is the worst movie I've seen in many years. This is not a horror movie, as one would guess from the ads and box art. It is not scary, horrifying, thrilling, suspenseful, interesting... I could go on, but you get the point. This has no point. It is bigoted, misguided, poorly paced, poorly written and poorly acted. I should have known from the opening scene what stupidity I was in for. The only positive things I can mention are the box art being cool (though not really indicative of the movie), seeing Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs for the first time since Welcome Back Kotter, and Katherine Cunningham-Eves is quite a hottie. Watch something else. You won't regret it.

5. Pieces of April: Horrible acting throughout, especially on Holmes' part. Slowly paced "comedy" without humor. I know the mother is ill, but the way the entire family just let her abuse them was disgusting. The only character you care anything about is the boyfriend, and he's not in it enough to make any difference.

maybe i'm very easy to please, but in all my NF ratings, i've only rated a grand total of 4 films one star. actually, that's not entirely true, as there have been a few i've bumped up to two stars on further consideration.

the following, however, are non-negotiable:

Alien vs. Predator
Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2
Primeval
Romeo + Juliet

in fact, i don't even have that many films rated 2 stars. maybe i really am too easy to please...

My general feeling is that if I can get all the way through it on Netflix or on TV, it gets at least three stars. I can't use the same system with a movie I see in a theater since I would be less likely to walk out, even if I am able, than I am to change the channel. That being said, I don't recall a movie I have seen in a theater which I have rated as badly as one star.
