OK, so we all know that the Oscars are like totally lame and stuff, but who/what would you LIKE to see win one this year?

Best Director - Ben Stiller.should take it to make up for last time when he was robbed by that loser Ron Howard in 2002. Zoolander was a way better movie than A Beautiful Mind!

Best Screenplay - Tropic Thunder

Best Movie Within A Movie - Simple Jack. I totally need to see this whole movie now!

Best Movie Ever Made - Toss up between Tropic Thunder and Death Race.

Best Actress - I haven't seen the movie yet, but Olga Kurylenko should win for her role in Quantum of Solace. Because she's hot...; ▶ Reply to This

Nah... the way they do it now is they figure out which one is "owed" an Oscar then they take a vote and whoever gets the majority vote still doesn't get it because in the end, it's the one who bent over for the Academy who is going to get the little gold statue.; ▶ Reply to This

I know, I hate that. If they want to do stuff like that, they should just give someone a special Oscar, like a "Lifetime Achievement" award, and leave the annual competition stuff alone. For Heath Ledger, if they want to honor him, they can give him a special Oscar separately, unless they really think his performance should win Best Actor. No one should lose an award they deserve because someone else is owed one.

Another thing that ticks me off is what happened to Brokeback Mountain. Granted, I haven't seen Crash, but BM was soooooooooooooooooooo good, I have a hard time believing any other movie that year should have gotten Best Picture.; ▶ Reply to This
