I have been with Netflix for almost two years now. I love it. But recently with companies coming up with ways to make you buy dvds recently (20th Fox and Disney). The cutting of special features and other things seems like a downer. So that got me to thinking....
While I like Netfix, I would like to get new releases when they are available through other venues. I've heard that Netflix will be holding their releases for 30 days after everyone else. This sounds like a cost cutting measure that will only hurt the Netfix customers. If this happens I will go back to Blockbuster. I hope other customers will let Netflix know how they feel about this.

You heard wrong. The rumor is that the studios/distributors will begin requiring rental companies (NF, BB, etc) to wait several weeks to offer new releases for rent. Netflix is currently saying "We do not foresee any changes to the way we offer new releases."
Incorrect. The studios are trying to figure out a way to boost their initial release day DVD sales, and want to impose a wait on rental companies such as Netflix (your beloved BlockBuster), Redbox etc.
What Neil has been talking about (Netflix CEO) is that he has opened interest/negotiations with the studios saying that he would support a 30 day wait on new releases, IF the networks allowed him to buy the new releases at 50% off what he would normally pay.
This would open up huge revenue to expand streaming, and face it... If you didn't see the movie in the theater, then whats another 30 days wait?
The movie by the studios will only hurt themselves, NOT Netflix, and I highly doubt there will be much churn of customers should that 30 day thing be adopted.
This move by NF is much smarter, and doesnt cost anything to do. RedBox already has filed a lawsuit seeking to halt the studios from taking this action, as it would in effect kill their business...
Nothing Really... Save maybe a tripling of the monthly fee.
As far as the special features? Sometimes they are cool, many times they are just a waste of space. So I would not gamble on buying a DVD (or BD) just to see if the extras are cool.
There are literally thousands of reasons why I would quit Netflix. I won't name them all, but here are just few.
1) If the earth ever stop rotating, causing everything, people, trees, animals, buldings, to be swept up into the atmosphere, I would probably quit Netflix.
2) If I ever suddenly went blind, I would quit Netflix.
3) If the dead rose from the grave, and started feasting on the living (like i've seen in so many movies) I would probably quit netflix.
4) If I ever lost complete control of my bowels, I don't think I would enjoy Netflix.
5) If the northeast region of the United States was under attack by giant frogs, I would probably quit Netflix.
