OMG, how about that last scene with Jack and Renee! "If you trust me, I will get you through this alive." Love that shot of the panicked look on her face when Tony and Jack were shoveling dirt on her. Hope she can hold her breath a long time. But at least she'll understand that Jack is on her side or at least not completely evil.
Things I did NOT like:
1. Renee tortures that guy and 30 minutes later the attorney general is at the FBI with a motion filed or whatever? The AG doesn't have anything better ot do in the middle of a terrorist attack?
2. What's up with that affair that analyst guy is having with the blonde girl. I'm guessing she's gonna be the mole and use the affair to her advantage? Meh.
3. I'm not liking the way the secret service and First Man storyline is going. What's the point of introducing that storyline if Samantha and the First Man are going to die already? If Samantha shows up next week and overpowers the SS guy and saves the First Man I'm gonna be so mad. No way that skinny girl can take a man TRAINED IN PROTECTION. Boo!
Killing the first gentleman seems like a extraordinarily dumb idea, even though he plans on framing the son's girlfriend. Because even so, it still looks suspicious as hell. Especially if she dies too.
I don't expect the son's girlfriend to go down easily for some reason. Instinct, or parallels to previous seasons.
I predict Renee will take about two minutes (after a dramatic near asphyxiation) to escape.
(Incidentally, Kiefer Sutherland himself had a chance to play someone who was buried alive in The Vanishing, a movie I recommended earlier.)
Renee should now figured out Jack is working undercover (because after all she's still alive), and will once again try to convince her boyfriend, I mean her boss, to trust Jack.
Her boss will get jealous of Jack. Renee is a perfect match for Jack, isn't she? She shouldn't have any issues with Jack being a death magnet.
he is clearly no match for Samantha's mad kickboxing skills
LOL! No I'm pretty sure he's a secret service agent whose whole job is to disarm and/or kill people who get near the First Man. I guess she could still kick him in the nads if she put her mind to it, though. I'm not sure they teach you how to protect that area in secret service training school. :)
I think Janis is going to have to do something more interesting than stall the lawyers soon to justify her existence.
I noticed we have the scene where the blonde (mole - I agree with you, spiderpig), then the scene where the affair guy is told by Janis that she has an "instinct" that Renee's boss has feelings for Renee. So the implication is clearly put out there that Janis will figure out what is going on between Affairguy and Blondemole as well.
