What did you think about this episode? What do you think about your future of watching the next season(s) of 24? What do you think about the news that 24 - Season 8 is going to be filmed in New York?
I just watched Episode 24, the second half of the finale and I am glad that finally one of my predictions came true.
1. The season did end with Jack in a coma!
2. Jack almost converted to Islam! (a prediction I made in jest but I thought of it when his new friend the Imam came to see him in the hospital). Can I count this as one-and-a-half predictions coming true?
3. Hey, I just realized I was also right about Jack finding the warehouse where they store all the flashing red LEDs the terrorists use to make bombs. We saw some cool blue LEDs on the bioweapon canisters, kind of like a Netgear router. Maybe some red LEDs in the finale.
Hey, we don't know if Renee decided to throw away her FBI badge, do we? Great fodder for speculation during the off-season.
We can also speculate about what kind of surgery Kim had to have to save Jack, and whether it will be enough to actually save Jack. We just know it is not too late to TRY. We also know Jack can't die, not while there's a Season 8.
I am glad President Taylor decided to do the right thing, it was one of the few times she actually looked presidential.
I hadn't heard they were filming Season 8 in New York, but I think it's a great idea!
To show that time has passed from Season 7 to Season 8, I think Renee is going to have to torture the guy and it was another step in her path to becoming the female version of Jack Bauer.
They won't be able to pin anything on Wilson, furthering Renee's frustration with staying within the law.
Those "risks" that Kim is taking to save Jack's life..I predict will loom large in Season 8. Maybe the surgery turns her brain to salad like Audrey in Season 6
