Hi, this is a thread for fans and curious, only, no haters. So, have you seen the Decalogue? The 3 colors trilogy? The Double Life of Veronique? Something else from this genius film maker? Let's talk about what you thought and why we love his films.
Kieslowski??? I am so there!!!
Can't get enough of his films and can't stop yakking about them! LOL
I will post more later.
Hi Srujan!!!
There is a YouTube clip from TDLV, the pupette show portion - my most favorite part of the show. I am technically challenged and don't know how to do that YouTube link thing. So, if you have time and happen to find it, please post it here. A great conversation piece for the movie for sure!!!!!
It was hard for me to believe that The Decalougue was a TV series- it felt like a first rate film. I know many people are fans of the 3 colors films, but The Decalogue was one of the best discoveries I have made since joining Netflix. Kieslowski's work is remarkably natural and human. You will recognize the characters in this film. The Decalogue starts off with one of the best episodes of the ten, but I should warn you- get out your hankies.
hullo all! I'm afraid I'm in need of serious schooling with Kieslowski. I've only seen Blind Chance, but I loved it. I'll keep an eye on the thread for recommendations.
