I love British Comedies, and I'm looking for a group to share the laughs with.
I'm not sure where to start, so how about, what tickles your funny bone?
What are some of your faves?

Faulty Towers, Red Dwarf of course, all the Mr. Bean TV spots (not the movies so much), but do you know what I really miss? The Crystal Maze with Richard O'Brien. I know it's not a comedy, but I used to love that show!

I love Red Dwarf, Smeggheads rule. Have you Rowan in The thin blue line. Really funny.

The Crystal Maze!!! I loved that show. I was watching something the other day where one of the characters says, "this is like the crystal maze" (excuse my poor memory) and i laughed and laughed. I have to say i loved Red Dwarf and Harry Enfield. Kevin cracked me up.

This is a great idea for a group! I prefer British TV comedies to American ones. British humor is just so good. Here's a list of some of my recommendations.

Quirky British Comedies

I love all of them in that list but if I had to choose my most favorite I'd say:

Black Adder
Black Books
The Office Series
Coupling

I saw a couple of episodes of Faulty Towers and it was really funny too.

While not a TV show I'd like to mention my favorite stand up comedian who is Welsh - Eddie Izzard:

Eddie Izzard's Stand Up Comedy

Love your list. I haven't seen Eddie Izzard. Netflix has a lot of his stuff, I'll check it out. Loved Black Adder, which do you prefer.

Eddie Izzard's Dressed to Kill is my favorite of his. I think my favorite Black Adder is season 3 because Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Laurie were so great together. Anyone who likes Hugh Laurie as House just must see him as The Prince Regent in Black Adder. It shows how talented he is to play such amazingly different roles and fake an American accent in House - wow! But I love all the Black Adder shows. Just too funny!!!

I <3 Blackadder 3 the most out of all the Blackadders, and they're all wonderful. I actually bought a book of the scripts to each episode as a PBS pledge drive incentive :)

I own a complete set of "The Young Ones" which I originally saw on MTV in the late '80s. It's hilarious and very irreverent. I recently started to enjoy the work of Simon Pegg and his buddy whose name escapes me at the moment, but they were both in the film "Hot Fuzz" (which is excellent) and they worked together on a British sitcom which isn't out on DVD yet, but which I'm looking forward to viewing. Other than that I have a lot to learn about British comedies and look forward to learning more. Stay well. (Or should I say "Cheers" ?).
