Comment by Joe on June 28, 2009 at 5:32pm: Well Gen'elmen, don't know any of you or what you want to discuss, but I just finished with Mutiny on the Bounty and had some thoughts about it. Had I not read the book, I think I would have been happier with the film (I'm talking about the Charles Laughton / Clark Gable version). Have any of you read the book and compared it with the movie? Perhaps they needed to change some things to fit the premise into a two hour movie, but some of the changes were disconcerting to me. Any thoughts?
