Hey, does anyone remember a movie that Elvira hosted called "The Godsend?' That was like my favorite movie. I can't seem to find it on DVD. It's about a family who has a creepy, pregnant woman stay at their house and she gives birth and leaves this creepy baby with this family. Well next thing you know this baby grows up to be a creepy kid and starts killing off the other kids in the family. I think the little girls name was Bonnie. That was a great movie, I have'nt seen that in years.

I miss Elvira. When I was a kid I used to force myself to stay awake and watch her movies. They would come on Friday nights at like 1:00 in the morning. The memories of childhood.

Man do I miss Elvira. I went to Halloween Haunt every year to see her show. On of the happiest moments of my life was when I got selected by her to go up on stage for one of her gags. Movie Macabre was the show that turned me into a horror film fan. Her quips and...comforting appearance helped me go from a scared little kid to a child of the night.

hey tara was "the devil's wedding night" ok? i dont mind old cheesy movies. just was wondering if it was worth the watch.

i drifted tonght and went with "she freak" and "squirm," both would have been much better with a little elvira commentary. she freak was a little slower than i expected. squirm had some interesting special effects and i always get a kick out of "fake" southern accents. i queued squirm after eli roth's commentary on trailersfromhell.com

I had to continue the streak and watched "The Devil's Wedding Night" as well. Here are my favorite quotes fro the film:

"I need a tall glass and a soft bed."- and then he just left the tall glass of beer on a stranger's table. how rude.

"she is about to get herself disqualified" - in reference to the fair lady's possible safety from her virginty - quotes from elvira, mistress from the dark

"of course that mooch will stay for dinner" - elvira

"i cant help asking myself, why a women like yourself would waste her beauty cooped up in a place like this" - mac daddy (aka imposter)

there is a lot of use of the word "mundane frivolities?"- its very possible i mispelled this....i am such a terrible speller.
