Offensive Reviews

I maybe the Lone Ranger here, whenever I try to flag postings that I find offensive to me, the LGBT Community, or to Women, I try to flag it but they are still there. Does anybody share my opinion that they shouldn't be posted? The other part are reviews that obviously the person hasn't seen and go on a political/personal agenda not to see a certain film because there is a LGBT person. I'll add a couple of the postings that I found recently and if others feel the same way they should flag it as well. If you see any other reviews that are offensive just post it. If I am wasting my time by doing this let me know and I will delete the thread.

The fact that this movie was nominated was a disgrace. The fact that it won shows just how sad our culture in America has become. We celebrate movies about men cheating on their wives by sleeping with eachother. Then we take a movie about gay men and we call it art. Then we take the movie Passion of the Christ, which was incredibly powerful and we don't even nominate it because do not want to celebrate God or give Him any glory. It is no wonder that our children are having sex so young, getting sick with diseases, getting abused, experimenting with oral sex and not thinking twice, our society is losing all sense of moral, etc. Keep celebrating garbage like this and we just get what we deserve. After 10 minutes and three scenes of gratuitous gay sex I turned this movie off.

This same bonehead, DK1926483 called François Ozon's work juvenile and criticizes Pedro Almodovar for having too many drug-addicted prostitutes with AIDS. Two of the continent's greatest directors! Good God, the Marx Brothers are on his most watched actors list, along with all of the Lord of the Rings actors. Very sad.; ▶ Reply to This

I've also seen several (that I've gone back to check) disappear because enough people flagged a review. Please link them next time (their profile pages, if available). I'm not going through all the Brokeback Mountain reviews again. Already did that when there were only 1600+ reviews. I'm actually sort of in love with these films and it honestly doesn't bother me in the least what others think of them. I do flag reviews if they are so utterly offensive or they are not reviews and just some preachy bullshit like Mr. Woe is me for our country!
