I maybe the Lone Ranger here, whenever I try to flag postings that I find offensive to me, the LGBT Community, or to Women, I try to flag it but they are still there. Does anybody share my opinion that they shouldn't be posted? The other part are reviews that obviously the person hasn't seen and go on a political/personal agenda not to see a certain film because there is a LGBT person. I'll add a couple of the postings that I found recently and if others feel the same way they should flag it as well. If you see any other reviews that are offensive just post it. If I am wasting my time by doing this let me know and I will delete the thread.
I think with book adaptations, you're right. Sometimes going in "cold" is much more enjoyable. If you read whatever book later you may get irritated with the movie "they" made in retrospect, but you aren't sitting in the theater seething with indignation when you first see it.
Maybe you'll be able to have parallel Bridesheads, existing in their own separate worlds.
Poolhall Junkies: Were they all homosexuals?Tweedle Dee should have had a pool stick implanted in his anus
Borat: I loved the fact that he makes fun of everyone especially the jews even though he is a jew himself.(They really are like rats.) Bicycle Thief on the same page: Today, you have a lot of blacks on welfare having a lot of childern and expecting tax payers to take care of them. No pride.
A Secret: Why all these Jewish movies?!! Why should we constantly have these peoplerammed down our throats?
Southie: Movie depicts the true white trash that lives in Dorchester and howthey live like animals. 8MM 2 on the same page: Why do they need to put homosexuals in movies?
There's probably more; I get depressed.
I'm posting this in the "not a review" thread as well.
Sheesh. Also posted this guy in "not a review" thread.
Brokeback: Sick Hollywood...why arent there any PRO AMERICA movies...all you sicko liberal freaks thinks this is a beautiful movie? What about our country being attacked and the TRUE MEN in this country stand up to the evils of the world and keep all you sickos safe from being hung in public like the enemy currently does to their own. Think about you freaks.....gross..
Ah... wow... what freaking movie is he talking about?
On one of the gay film blogs there was a game to match the movie tag line to the film. Should try that with some of these reviews.
I really like that he gave "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover" five stars and did not call sick in anyway. Hum... so eating human flesh is pretty but two guys kissing makes you want to throw up? The review shouldn't be flagged the review should be noted by the authorities.
Part of the problem is there is a group about not reviews and a thread about not reviews and people continue to post reviews that aren't reviews it is almost a losing battle in some ways.
