I've seen all of these and would be hard-pressed to list them in any kind of order. I do agree with #1. I sobbed and wept like a little schoolgirl during the last 20 minutes. I will never forget Heath's expressions - without saying a word - as the best acting I have ever seen.

Some of them deserve to be there and few others are just average or below. Not many foreign films on the list and some of the early classic gay films need to be pushed up.

... and I'm sorry, but "Another Gay Movie" just... does NOT belong on ANY "best of" list. It's one of the few I gave 0 stars. "Salo (The 12 days of sodomy)" was the other. (Was it "12 days"? I forget, and I'm not willing to look, lol). I only rented it because it was banned in Australia. Turns out I think they got that one right.

Or maybe Salo was just over my head... And "Another Gay Movie" was under it. Far under.

It looks to me like this list is really "ALL the gay movies from 2000 on".

That would be Salo; or 120 days of Sodom. Not really a gay movie by any means. Faite, most can't stand the movie either, but then again everybody has a different interpritation of what it is about. Call me sick or deranged for loving it, but I do.
