What's your favorite Season 1 episode?
I just watched the one where they all were 5 years in the future and Sylar is "President Petrelli". The whole Homeland Security thing was creepy--especially with what's been going on these days and our issues.

I guess my favorite was the first episode. I'd never seen Heroes on network TV & decided to rent it on Netflix, just to see what it was about. I was instantly mesmerized. I then rented & watched the entire 1st & 2nd season within about 3 weeks. And then I was in Heroes withdrawal. I still am...

The first episodes were great..specially when they introduced 'save the cheerleader, save the world' catchphrase..it was great!
that catchphrase i read it was an inside joke and the writers decided to put it there.
Initially they were going for "Save the undead, save the world" but someone at an executive meeting said(since most new fall shows dont make it past first episode or season 1)
'if you want to save the show from stinking you better save the cheerleader. She connects with every demographic. she's cute, she's blond she's young. so save her and you save us all..." something in those words.
