EXPIRING Watch Instant Titles on X date. (January - December, 2009) CLOSED UNTIL IT IS NEEDED AGAIN.

3/5/09 Update: The expiring list - for the time being I'm going to close the thread and at a future date, if there's a need to make use of it again, we can always re-open it. Thank you to everyone who took the time to help with updating the list!

No Description

The reason it says "No Description" is because there was a glitch when I was connected via wireless and it got disconnected in the process of saving the update I made at the time. In any case, this situation has forced me to rethink where we should focus our energy and efforts for this project.

For more information please take a look at this thread- In which direction should our group be going? and please share your thoughts and ideas, even if it is only to say that you agree. We need to decide together, what we are going to do with the expiring titles project as well as the other projects.

Let's come up with a path that we should take, together.

Question, why do they expire?
If I remember correctly, as mentioned elsewhere in the community forums, there are rights to each title that the owners lease/rent to Netflix and the contract expires at a certain time. The question is, at that time, do the owners renew the license or not.
Thanks
OK I give up, how can you tell if they expire?
On your IW queue, the 'expire date' will show up to the right of the five red stars on each individual movie (under 'Availability').

Example: Load "Heartbeat Detector" into your IW queue:

You should see "Release Date: TBA" in red letters
Hi. Thanks for starting this thread, wowwee.

I have question though.

How do you load up that title "Heartbeat Detector" to you Instant Watch queue? I only see a red "Add" button (for adding to our DVD queue) on that page.
Hoover the cursor over the PLAY / DVD button and another button under those will appear. It says "Add to Instant". Clicking on it will add to the IW queue.
Yeah there is no blue "Play" button either for that particular title, "Heartbeat Detector". I see just the red "Add" button.
You're welcome Ken. There is now a "Play" button, when I just now added it to my IW queue. (No expiration date.)

Any more titles to add to the list?
Okay that's just totally weird because on my end, this movie isn't available for me for Instant Watch.
