Decidedly different from any other Ridley Scott film I've seen in that it is low on action and suspense, but not bad. Though labeled a comedy, it is more of a quirky drama. The pacing is a bit slow, and the obsessive-complusive behavior of Cage's character gets old really quickly. The twist is easy to figure out; the pieces fall into place just a bit too simply. The acting is decent, and the story is interesting despite of its lack of surprises. An average movie that I would probably not watch again.
