A Netflix Community

A while back I added myself as a Friend by creating another Queue. I was playing around with it and seeing what I could use it for (besides for using it as a Queue for movies and all the other ideas that people use it for). I came up with this:

I decided to rate all my 3-5 star titles from my main Queue - 5 stars in the new Queue. While at the same both my 1 & 2 star titles I'd rate 1 star. I was thinking of rating them "Not Interested" but that is not the case, as I did watch it. Here are the results in comparison:

Main Queue: Rated: 21,879 titles with 57 results.

New Queue: Rated: 1,079 titles with 11,284 results.

Question: Does it make sense to believe that I did the right thing? Since 3-5 star titles means that I did LIKE/LOVE to some degree the title.

Also, what I noticed is that some titles are now being recommended based on 35 & higher # of titles. This would mean that such a title would be of higher interest despite having some of the titles actually just a 3 or 4 star. I figured that a title of such high # of Rec's would be a good start to add to a Queue, and then add from there to my main Queue.

I keep doing this, and always finding a new gem or two. Currently, I have over two hundred titles just sitting in the queue that are based on only 27-28 recommendations or higher with some over 40.
