Sayid and Jacob
In the finale, I am unsure about my opion on the meeting between Satid and Jacob. One interpretation I have is that his wife would have continued walking and made it across the street if Jacob didn't stop Sayid. Another is that Jacob was protecting Sayid from getting hit also. The first supports the idea that Sayid may be "bad".
Any thoughts?

yeah i'm trying to figure out too - was it just to get in touch w/ sayid? i don't think so - as with other losties jacob seemed to make maybe more of a statement - i would assume jacob knew perhaps about nadia? anyway - jacob needs him back on the island , right? and if nadia lives sayid would never have gone back....
