October 2009 - Future Music Release Highlighted - Kings of Leon: Live at the O2 London, England

It is now good to be the King and the KoL are enjoying their current reign at the top of the charts. This is the KoL/s 1st and only Concert DVD. It was filmed on June 30, 2009 before a capacity crowd of 18,000. Although they are a Nashville-based rock band, KoL achieved their initial success in the UK with nine Top 40 singles, two BRIT Awards in 2008, and all four of the band's albums at the time peaking in the top five of the UK Albums Chart. The band, brothers Nathan, Caleb and Jared and their cousin Matthew, has a well-documented back story. But the Followills/ childhood of traveling with their Pentecostal preacher father didn't resonate at home as it did in Europe. Drummer Nathan stated, England is really the first place KoL broke and figured what better place to make a live DVD than where the fans have been the craziest for the longest. The O2 show features some choice rarities and is a generous 100 minutes and 22 tracks covering most of their catalog of songs. No extras. 1. Introduction 2. Notion 3. Be Somebody 4.
