This movie was cracked upon arrival and unfit for veiwing. This has happened before and the movie Duck was also blemished so was difficult to view. Had to miss some of it but what I saw wasn't to my liking anyhow.

When an opening scene has Kelsy Grammer using the F word numerous times, that indicates to me that the film has little value. I always liked Frazier and to see the star of that show lower himself to this level is disturbing. I exited after 5 minutes

I quit watching it in the middle of the movie, after DeNiro got trapped in his apartment, at which point the movie became so painfully boring, lame and stupid, I just could not stand it no more. I guess the plot writer ran out of ideas and actors just gave up on it as well. I am truly embarrased by this movie, -- the acting, characters, plot are horrible. This movie will only insult your intelligence, don't waste your time. No stars from me.

I'm not the only one. If anyone is curious the movie is TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING. The first episode plays fine but the second episode around 32:00 minutes changes into the abovementioned movie and we never get to see the end of "New Earth" Someone's head is probably going to roll.

I agree with IS1114. There's nothing but bonus features on this disc. No episodes whatsoever. I'm a passionate fan of the new Dr. Who series (now in it's 3rd season), but even I thought this disc was pretty boring stuff.

Ill be perfectly honest: I got to the 40 minute mark and realized I had heard Pat Boone sing several times but had not seen so much as CAVE, much less the center of the Earth. Thats where I gave up. Maybe it picked up after that, but what I saw seemed like a needlessly long, boring and stilted excuse for an Adventure film.

Sorry to admit that I'm a pig, but I'd pay ten dollars to watch Megan Fox sit on a chair and breathe for 90 minutes. I don't even care if it's a silent movie with no sub-titles. Megan is so hot it's a wonder her DVDs don't catch fire! Any red blooded man, straight or gay, will see this movie!

I am enjoying the Cadfel series as it is very well done. However, the Monk's hood CD which you sent is defective. The audio is terrible. We had a very difficult time hearing the story line in spite of the fact that we had it a full volume. I sure hope that you can improve the audio quality on the rest of the series. Catalina

The story line is very good. I am amazed that this DVD is still in circulation. Others have complained about the audio portion of this DVD. It was of extremely poor quality. Is there no replacement? Are all copies of this DVD mixed so poorly?

This episode of the series is very good, but this particular DVD has horrible sound quality. The music track overwhelms the dialog track so that you're constantly fiddling with the volume control, cranking it up to hear the dialog and quickly cranking down again when the music swells.

The movie will probably never get made. I'm a fan of the series (except the lame third book), and have been following it's journey to the big screen for a while. Jan de Bont was to direct and New Line was to distribute, but New Line was bought out and the rights are up in the air again. While at New Line the budget was always an issue. It was to cost $200m, but was to be brought down to around $100m. That was easier said than done and it was a constant battle with the writers and Alten to maintain what made the book so cool. It's being shopped around once again and hopefully it's going to go into production soon, as most of the pre-production stuff is already completed. They lost de Bont too, which is probably a good thing since his last few films were real trash.

The book was a MASTERPEICE! I just hope that they dont mess up this movie. I hope that they dont leave out all the good parts like when the girl gets swollowed in the shark tube and the surfing climax. over all i'm excited.

I could not get Rise of the Cybermen to play correctly either, using the Watch Instantly viewer for Macintosh. I dont see any dates on these previous reviews, but it looks like this has been an ongoing problem for a while. Todays date is: 01/02/2009.

Although this is an excellent series, dont try to watch it through instant streaming. from this episode forward, all episodes are in the wrong aspect ratio: i.e., 4x3 rather than 16x9. and now the discs for season 2 are listed as unavailable for rental. this is entirely unacceptable. and you cant submit a review with an upper case letter. a completely dissatisfied subscriber.

people people people quit complaining about when the next disc will be released and chk ur listing there out and available for rent. if u wanna complain about something people within the PBS veiwing area of dallas/fort worth complain to them for taking it off the air coz thats where i got hooked on watching the new doctor who or i would of never known that doctor who was back on the air this does suck that there is only count it 2 season of disc out complain about that and complain that according to doctor who the world is coming to an end yes i was very sad at the end of "parting ways" he was gone and the new guy took over the controls of the tardis bbc.co.uk/doctorwho

I find it comforting, if a little strange, that I am not alone in the jump to an entirely different movie during the last few minuites of New Earth. I did not watch it long enough to know the horror movie I reported was "texas chainsaw massacre". I find it disturbimg so many viewers had the same bad experience. There is no option when reporting a damaged disc for what seems to have happened quite a bit with this particular movie.

This is very dissapointing. I can buy this in the store and can rent it on blockbuster.com. I think it is past time you picked up the second season. Fill in the gaps you have in your older series, it is obvious you are concentrating on the newer tv series, esp. reality tv which is sad that you cant keep focus. Once a new concept you are starting to fall into predicable behaviors and this is the first example of this.

I was relieved to hear other people are having problems with the first disc of Season 2. I’m also worried if all copies of disc 1 are defective what is going to happen? I was able to play disc 2 and 3 no problem. I love this series and have been looking forward to catching the episodes I missed.

I got this disk in the mail and found that about 3/4 of the way through the 2nd episode the disk freezes up and no amount of navigating around the sticky spot will make the last 20 minutes of the disk play. I reported it damaged and got a second disk and had the same problem. I've never had a problem like this before and my dvd player plays other dvds just fine, so I think there is a bad batch of Doctor Who dvds out there. Having said that, I am loving the reimagining of the series, and nothing would make me happier than to be able to watch it all the way through.

On disc 1, in the second episode, the video cuts out and is replaced by a very GORY and bloody horror movie! The DVD mastering was obviously screwed up. The special features menu on disc 1 doesn't function right either (each choice just hangs...) Someone needs to be canned in the mastering shop. This is hideous.
