Just through up a short introductory list to stop-motion animation. If anyone has any comments/suggestions they'd like to make on it please let me know.

Sorry, I feel like I've been neglecting this group for a while. Just made a bunch of posts, and hope to get some interesting discussion started up again.

9 is only produced by Tim Burton I believe. Also cool that it's being produced by Timur Bekmambetov, Russian director of Night Watch, Day Watch, Wanted. Would be interesting if these 2 collaborated at some point.

Yeah, I am not getting my hopes up about it. I don't want to sound like a party pooper but I hold TB to such high standards I hate to get excited just to be so very disappointed. I am sure it will be fun to watch but I am not counting on this being great. Hope I am wrong.

I think this movie is CGI, but it's king of stylized and has a stop motion look. Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov? FUCK YES.

I need to start a countdown for this one, it looks so damn fantastic and creative.I seriously can’t wait to see this.

Heh, it seems that clip from The Adventures of Mark Twain is a favorite amongst stop motion fans. It's in the favorite stop motion animation thread twice.
