As a professional cook for all of my adult life nothing captures my attention and causes me to obsessively fixate more than food. As a result I will watch almost any movie or t.v. program with a food element in it. Like food, I am not afraid to sift my way through a mountain of offerings to find the hidden gems. This discussion includes all food & drink related scenes or feature length cinema / television. Come on in the kitchen and we will "plate-up" some movies and "send" the good and "86" the bad. Just as long as you don't hide back in the "dish-pit" with your hands in you pockets.
As my fellow kitchen pirates like to say:

Comment by Dr. Funke Phd. AR on July 8, 2009 at 11:24am: I just saw the movie The Caller and it has a scene where two of the characters are eating at Anthony Bourdain's restaurant Les Halles. Somebody in the production must be a fan.
