Lucky 7
I think this could be a fun game for all of us to celebrate the people that make the movies!
The Rules:
1. First list a name of a person in the movies and post their photo. (Here is your opportunity to display one of your favorite photos of that person.) It can be an actor/actress, movie director, script writer, soundtrack musician. Make sure that they have done at least 7 different projects that people would know about. (i.e. I love Antonio Gades, but he was only in 3 known films, the Flamenco Trilogy.. So I cannot list him...). That person, also posts his favorite movie with the person they picked.
2. Other participants as well as the person who posted the title picture will list movies by that same person, i.e. show a poster of a movie that this person was in or worked on. and number each listing accordingly.
3. The person who posts #7 gets to post a new film personality.
* If two people seem to post at almost the same time, the one whose posting appears first on the computer, will be the "owner" of that number posting! So if two people post #6, the first showing will be #6 and the 2nd will actually be #7!
Example:
Charlie Chaplin.. and a photo of him.
We then list, one at a time 7 movies he was responsible for. The person who posted #7, gets to select the new movie personality.
4. Please post all new posting at the top of the page in the reply box. This way, if we want to discuss a specific entry it does not come in between new postings. So, if we want to discuss a posting, we hit reply under the posting. New Postings, are posted from the reply box on top of the page...!
5. Please put the complete title of your posting.. i.e #2 of 7 movies of Jane Doe.
This way, we keep the numbers straight, and also, people who join can immediately see who the current person is.
6. Please do not start a new person before we finished 7 movies of the current person being played.
7. This is a game we all participate in. The person who picked the subject will post some of their favorites, as well as other players.
8. You need not to have seen the film you post, but if you have seen films by this person and liked them, it would be nice if you post them first.
9. Lets not repeat the same person within a thread.
10 The key to keeping this game fun for everyone, is to chose a person who is fairly well known, so others can share their favorite films with that person.
I am hoping this will be a fun game, that will also allow us to share about our favorite people in the movies..!

You are right, Phineas.
The whole idea of the game is for us to share with each other movies we like of a certain person.
People cannot share with you movies they liked of people they never heard of...
I'd like to keep it more to people we heard of, so that others can participate...
When we choose and actor or director we all heard of, everyone can contribute, and be happy to share the movies they loved by that person....
I am therefore going to make a notation in the rules to have the person chosen, someone that is fairly known....
The same holds true for me. I watch a lot of Korean cinema for example - and I have my favorite Korean actors - but I will not put them in this category, - unless I believed others are familiar with them AND have watched their movies...
I would like to keep this game going with people who are fairly well known.

I've seen this guy in a lot of movies and have always wondered who he was. It's nice to have a name associated with his picture.
