TH 333 Studies in Film Genre: The Suspense Thriller
I never actually took the course of Suspense Thrillers taught at my school, it wasn't offered while i attended. But my professor who taught the other two filmschool courses that I've posted wrote the book on the genre, literally. THE SUSPENSE THRILLER: FILMS IN THE SHADOW OF ALFRED HITCHCOCK wasn't just the text used in Derry's course, but was the text adopted by filmschools all over the country and still stands the best academic examination of the genre.
Derry broke the genre down into 6 primary sub-genres and I've started to create lists based around those sub-genres. So far I've pulled two from teh book. Many of the titles explored in the book are foriegn and not yet listed on netflix as available on disc.

Unfortunately, of the third sub-genre discussed in teh book, only 5 films are listed on Netflix.

I hope you try posting a list from the fourth, fifth, and sixth sub-genres. I liked your first two lists based on that source, which directed me to some films I would otherwise have missed. Thanks, and please carry on.
