I find most Doctor Who fans tend to introduce themselves with the inclusion of their favourite....
For me I find it very hard so I shall not choose one, no, instead its 4, 9 and 10 with a honourable mention for number 8 who I believe could have been great if not for the terrible movie he had been put in.

My favorite would be #2, Patrick Troughton.
I am pretty happy with the current doctor, too.
Think my least favorite would be #5, Peter Davison. He was far too 'normal'. From his interviews, he seemed to just see it as a job, and a kinda embarassing one at that.
I guess that's true. Lucky for us then that we saw the charismatic Tom Baker first. Its amazing isn't it that this show is determined really by which Doctor you saw first. Tom Baker was my first, but I have to say my Doctor Who watching fell to the wayside until recently with the resurgence of the show, and how great Christopher Eccelston and David Tenant are.
I haven't seen all the series but I watched most of the season with Christopher Eccleston and when they changed to David Tennant I stopped watching. Eccleston seemed to have a frantic energy that I liked and he looked right for the part to me. But I'm determined to watch the other seasons now.
Well if my picture doesn't give it away Tom Baker is my favorite. Most likely because he was the first Doctor I was introduced to. My least favorite would have to be #7 (forgot his name), and then right after him comes Colin Baker, who seemed to be more of a jackass than what was called for in the role. I'm not absolutely head over heels for the current Doctor...there's something about him I don't really like. Maybe that he's more "human" and less of a detective like some of the earlier Doctors. Am I the only one that thinks there's something off about him?
Agreed! Tom Baker hands down. No other doctor is in the "i don't like" category but Colin came close. It wasn't his fault though. The writing during that time was atrocious up until Trial of a Time Lord. He could have been great albiet harsh much like Hartnell.
