K9 TV Show

A new K9 spin-off show is being produced in Australia. It should be airing there later this year, no word on if/when it will air in the US.

Due to complications with intellectual property rights, they will never be able to mention Doctor Who directly on the show. Not sure how much effect that will have on the show, maybe not a lot.
