Comment by Dreamz on October 28, 2008 at 3:08pm: I enjoyed Baby Mama, not a whole lot but I liked it. Maybe I'm a sucker for Tina and Amy. So far I think I have avoided the worst movies of 08, but I am sure I may have put them in my Q.

For my money, "Be Kind Rewind" qualified as a movie that was boring, nonsensical, and not worth making or watching. Here is my review on the Netflix site:
Perhaps this is a film for a different generation.

With Jack Black, Danny Glover and Mia Farrow, I assumed it had to be an entertaining, enjoyable, funny movie. Instead, it seemed like an amateur film with a script that appeared to have been ad-libbed. The story is ludicrous, the characters are transparent, and the costumes are cheap and look like a 1950's version of "Flash Gordon" (except these are in color and look like school children playing space man).

If you liked "Napoleon Dynamite," perhaps this movie will strike a humorous note that escapes me. The script was a waste of acting talent. "Be Kind Rewind" attempted to create a feeling of nostalgia for an old neighborhood in Passaic, New Jersey. It did not succeed. In short, a boring attempt at comedy featuring talented actors and a script lacking humor and creativity.
