Hi Alexander! Happy new year and thanks for responding back. I watched Camera Buff not too long ago, it's Kieslowski earlier movie. I love it. I can't think of any Kieslowski films I don't like.
Hi Alexander, welcome. Nice set of faves, I am a huge fan of Kieslowski, my favorite is Blue. Recently I discovered Wong Kar Wai, and my favorite is In The Mood for Love and 2046.
Palindromes would be my next choice from Solondz. (which is on instant watch right now too). I know what you mean by a little tough... He has a fearlessness in showing his own reality without any remorse. Its strangely unbiased even though you search for justice for his characters.
I hope you like Titus but if you don't, you can tell me to not recommend movies like that anymore. haha.
That totally makes sense... atmosphere can be such a huge element. Visuals / atmosphere generally influence my judgement on a film. Although, sometimes I just really love a story, as long as it takes me on a ride.
Have you seen the film Titus? Visuals and atmosphere play a big part in that film. Cheers!

The movie that I'm referring to is Aleksandr Dovzhenko's Earth (1930)
Do you like indie films also?
