You, blah, blah-blah, join, blah, blah-blah-blah, Short Films Need Love Too, blah, discover, blah-blah-blah-blah, fun, blah-blah, interesting, blah, blah, blah?
Yeah, it gets sort of old explaining "throttling" to every new user, especially after other people have tried. I just figure hate is as good a reason as any to keep new releases from people. It's simple and requires no further explanation.
I have to admit, Sid is great! He's fun and funny and he's a happy sort of character, he seems to love his work and fans! He really is a terrific guy and thank you for your comment!
I queued "The Architecture of Doom" ... I'm also interested in a couple others, but I gotta pace myself! I've already split into 2 queues (like all of us, I need so much more time to see 'em all ..). Another one you reviewed that I'll probably add later is the one about Charles Manson ...
Hello, Anathema23! I recently became a member of the community site on Ning and joined a few groups (Star Wars, Bladerunner, Firefly/Serenity). I also formed another SCI-FI group for fans of the Stargate universe. But then I started thinking that since there is such a shortage of good SCI-FI as it is and most of us probably enjoy this genre in general, that it would make more sense for me to change my group ‘Wormhole Xtreme!’ into a space for ALL KINDS of SCI-FI. This way the discussion won’t be limited to one movie or series and we could have the opportunity to share more ideas and introduce each other to new SCI-FI. So to all you other SCI-FI fans out there, I would like to cordially invite you to join the group “Wormhole Xtreme!’ and welcome you to bring any topic that you are excited about discussing. I hope to see you there! -Warm wishes from ‘Meow Meow’
Dumbing down is exactly my experience with what's been going on lately! I've just been reluctant to use that phrase, because I know it'll set off a tsunami of protests from the people who like the new designs and those who believe Netflix can do no wrong (shafting customers? That's just "good business sense" and therefore justifiable). It's too bad.
Thank you for your kind words. Yeah, I wish they'd be somewhat faster in doing something about it. Apparently changing something back takes a lot longer than just changing it... But I suppose that would be admitting that they'd made a mistake in the first place, and companies generally don't do that... But I'm still on it, and I won't forget to prod them once in a while.
(Oh, and Ragweed, you're right, it's that movie. I enjoyed that moment too - back in my teens...)
