At Home...

When a man named Tolbiac (Clovis Cornillac) awakens to find himself naked, disoriented and trapped somewhere deep underground, he begins an epic journey through a labyrinth of tunnels and dark caverns on his way toward the surface. Pursued by strange digital ghosts and other technological monsters, he uncovers clues to his predicament, which involves a scientific biosphere experiment gone awry. Franck Vestial directs this dark sci-fi thriller.

While in custody, he regales a jaded inspector (Irfan Khan) with remarkable tales of his life on the streets and the story of the woman (Freida Pinto) he loved and lost. Danny Boyle directs this Oscar-winning Best Picture.

I also formed another SCI-FI group for fans of the Stargate universe. I've just been reluctant to use that phrase, because I know it'll set off a tsunami of protests from the people who like the new designs and those who believe Netflix can do no wrong (shafting customers? That's just "good business sense" and therefore justifiable). It's too bad.

Apparently changing something back takes a lot longer than just changing it... But I suppose that would be admitting that they'd made a mistake in the first place, and companies generally don't do that... But I'm still on it, and I won't forget to prod them once in a while.

(Oh, and Ragweed, you're right, it's that movie. I enjoyed that moment too - back in my teens...)
