A Small Set Of My Favorite Movies

APOCALYPSE NOW (especially ~ Redux, which added 2 great scenes), TITUS (Hopkins/Shakespeare), HEAT (Pacino, And DeNiro, And Michael Mann), GODFATHER II (especially the latter day portion with Lee Strasberg), THE WAGES OF FEAR (a great French book), PAPILLON, CHINATOWN, LE MANS, MANHUNTER (Michael Mann's pre-Silence of the Lambs), THE 5TH ELEMENT (best comedy/action/sci-fi I can think of), SOME LIKE IT HOT, THE APARTMENT, ROOM WITH A VIEW (Helena Bonham Carter I would die for), and LADY JANE (hbc and the Reformation in England).
