Hi Erik,
I know this is kind of late, but thanks for joining The Office! If there is anyone else that you feel will enjoy it as well please feel free to invite them.
Hi Erik- I loved Jacob's Ladder and Groundhog Day, as well as a few others you have listed.
Everything is all weird since XP died. I can't bring myself to get involved in some new website-thing to see the "dirty" pictures. It's so depressing.
I also love Gaspar Noe.
Bye!
I saw Desperate Living for the first time when I was 10 years old... haha... and it changed my life. ha. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I only wish Divine had been casted in it... sigh. Have you seen Pink Flamingos or Female Trouble? Both are worthy of viewing as well.
Thanks for the perspective. I had a hard time deciding between 3 and 4 stars for this one. I didn't "like" it so much as it really stuck with me and got under the skin. The performances were a marvel. Definitely a departure for Cronenberg.
Seen anything phenomenal lately?
Are you into anime at all? I joined a private Japanese anime forum on Ning recently, and have been turning my brain to cottage cheese watching hentai (the sexy pervy stuff), and a bit of sci-fi, "cyberpunk" anime. I'm not a total anime-fan, but the Japanese sure do have a corner on the pervy, weird S#$& market, and their animation is no exception! I'll send you an invite if you're interested.
Hey Eric, I saw a comment you left on one of my friend's pages about Cronenberg's Spider--I'm still sort of undecided what I think of that movie. What was your take?
