After Reading your AFI list, I felt I should come over here and intro myself so I can keep track of your reviews, etc. I'm retired from the industry, so I have a lot more time to play catch up watching movies and playing on the computer. Unfortunately, it wasn't my choice. I had to do something stupid and get sick. But it's all cool.
Hi there! Just returned from a month-long stretch in Europe, playing almost every night. I see you haven't posted much recently either - I hope everything is going well.
Carravagio, many not be what your expecting in the biographical sense, but it is a great Jarman film. It Jarman's passion project. Plus, if you couldn't tell I am a Jarman fan.
Thanks, I appreciate the support! I have a powerful sense of righteous indignation that kicks when people display obviously hurtful, mean behavior and think it's cool. It kicks in at other times too, but that's usually when it shows up here. Where I usually feel like the Lone Ranger, LOL.
NF might have a limited number of DVDs in circulation...
They probably didn't anticipate or expect it would get the coverage that it did in The New York Times.
My post didn't help matters much either...
3 or 4 people said they were putting it in their queues
after they read my entry.
I would just say put it up near the top of your queue (in the 'top ten').
NF will get it to you as soon as they can, I'm pretty sure.
Thanks my friend, I'm usually just a lurker, because I play and travel quite a bit and am usually too exhausted to chime in. I've been trying to post more, I joined way back in march and don't think I posted once in the first few months, lol.
