About Me:
Movies of all kinds fascinate me. I figure I've watched about 800 Netflix DVDs and 2-3000 films in general. I'm amazed that there are so many more great movies to see. (And so many more crappy ones!) Lately I've been interested in Experimental Cinema...

Message From Space (1978 JAPAN) Does one of the characters say, "sexual harassment" in the first line of dialog? HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL The great Phillipa Fallon does a beatnik poem.

New Edition of Bright Lights, Big City

Bright Lights, Big City is an online film magazine of the highest quality, but not full of academic terminology. Definitely worth checking out

I'm in Deadwood, South Dakota. We've been on a long road trip—today I visited the corn palace (yea!)—Portland, OR, to Cali, to Minnesota, to Deadwood/the Badlands, and back home again. Three weeks on the road and I'm a gonna make it home tonight. . . Saturday, actually ;). Thanks for noticing!

I added one more track ("Angona") to my page; it is also short but is a complete composition. I think of it as something like a Gershon Kingsley's "Popcorn" for the new millennium 8^) .

Namaste, Tim

Thanks Guy, after meeting you here and then checking out your myspace page, it was obvious you are a Heavy Cat and I'm so delighted to know you. I'm working on a bunch of albums simultaneously, which is kind of crazy-making ;-) I'll always be interested in getting feedback from an accomplished artist such as yourself.
Thanks again for the input; it is encouraging! Best, Timothy

Yeah I heard about Bruce Conner too. Its such a shame. Rauschenberg's sculptures were always my favorites. I loved the whole 'don't ask, don't tell' relationship between him and Jasper Johns. They both made such an impact on the art world. ps - I love Anger, too. I heard he's going to have a show at PS1 in NYC in 2009. Although he claims that he's going to die on Halloween 2008. - thanks for the comment.

Rauschenberg was the first artist to make me want to be an artist. Its so sad he passed away this year. I saw some of his latest work at the juried exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. His work continued to be strong... anyhow, its always nice to find other Rauschenberg fans.
