Yes, since 12/04. I was renting ~3 movies a week and my Niece & Nephew got me a gift subscription for Christmas - Love you guys! Now they never tire of making fun of my lengthy queue.
Are you a Netflix employee?
a) No.
What is your (apx) "Reviewer Rank" Number?
When I first noticed the rankings I was #206. Been dropping ever since; 300, 400, 500, 600, 700. Dang! I better start watching some MOVIES! Edit: Oh, like it matters now that I dropped to 18,900 in one day.
What is your Outward Profile page URL (find yourself on one of your friend's lists, and click back to see yourself)
Mostly great Sci-Fi (2001, Blade Runner, etc.), epics (The Last Emperor, Empire of the Sun, etc.), independant films (Juno, -I'll think of more later- What was the one where the kid talks about "pooping back and forth?" That was INSANELY good). I enjoy at least a dozen other genres (comedies, action-thrillers, fantasy, etc.).

Well, I can't argue with your statement that YOU get better quality picture from Netflix, but I can't imagine how you can make the argument that I do too. Do I have to renew that restraining order? :D
I've had both freeze up on me, but that's not...
I remember when I first signed up I asked for listings by studio (back in the day when they accepted suggestions). Either I didn't see the listings or they added the feature soon after my "suggestion," but I find I don't use it, partly due to what...
I've been watchin' a lot on Hulu lately. Multiple new season shows I want to watch, no Tivo or equivalent. No biggie as long as Hulu's around, I just subsribe to the shows I don't watch live or record and watch 'em at my leisure. As someone said e...
Toy Story 2
Had to test it first. Copy the link to the clipboard (I went to the Toy Story 2 page and copied the URL). Type the title you want to use in the reply text-box (in this case, Toy Story 2). Highlight it. Click the "chain link" in the re...
Snopes w/IE8 64-bit, default settings: "Pop-up blocked. Also, to help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked other content from this site. Click here for options... "
IE8 has a built-in popup blocker. I've always left it on the Medium setting and I have yet to see a Netflix add pop up or under.
Hey Michael, how about the URL of a site with the ad so we can check our pop-up blocker's effectiveness?
We must not be using the term "pop-under" in the same way then, because to get a window under the browser, a "pop-under" window, you MUST trick the browser into allowing a separate window to open, regardless of the content that is eventually displ...
That makes sense. It's not "Movies UNLIKE The Movies You've Rated So Far." If, in general, all they know is what you DON'T like, how are they supposed to know what you DO like?
Actually, this is the SECOND best -- The first, the one I was referring to, is in the town where they are running for cover, run into a building, and is the first public reveal of their "secret" (though it's the action that blew me away, I only me...
Can't find "the" clip but the scene in Children Of Men where they are trying to get the Hell outta town while the town is under attack. Holy cripes. First time I noticed the "trick" of blood spattering the camera lens -- I felt like I was there.
It SEEMS like 850 ratings would be enough to at least take a wild shot at what you might like ... How long have you waited for them "to fix it?" (Which SEEMS like they know there's a glitch and ARE working on it.)
If it's some arbitraryly high nu...
Sort of a queue for your queue? I would use that.
I use another site for purchasing music and videos and they have a "wishlist" that i use all the time. A place to "park" items you know you'll want, or at least want to think about, without losing...
I'm at the same stage. I know cutting back to one-at-a-time and placing "must-see" movies at the top of the queue is the right solution, but I keep thinking, what if this malaise is only temporary? What if I want to watch four movies next week? Bu...
An adserver -- Could that indicate a malware infection?
Sure, Netflix might have a business relationship with an adserver, that wouldn't be surprising in the least, but NO ONE ELSE is getting this? Or, at least, their not complaining about it. A ...
I would not even think about the encryption key length -- The issue is WHY is that certificate coming up at all? If it were Netflix's certificate that had an issue, everyone that tried to sign up would be receiving this warning (and Netflix would ...
