The 50's are a particular fave for me (since I'm old and really remember them), but mostly they either make me laugh at how ridiculous the era was about WOMEN, or it brings me back to a place in time where I was having fun and enjoying life. The Theme songs are especially great for that, as I know almost all the words to the ones I loved. Of course in order to run the Retro-TV game - I have to crop out a lot of titles (mostly in the 50's and 60's) and it just kills me when the song jumps like "Who was the tall dark stranger there. . . XXXXXXXX was his name!" lol

I watched a fantastic movie this weekend, In The Mood For Love. It's a movie for the senses. It's a gorgeous visually and music -wise. The story is pretty simple, but the cinematography is fantastic.
