The movies was absolutely horrible.. I've woke up next to scarier things after a night of hard drinking than anything in this movie.
I loved it! I agree with Spins about the lack of special effects and how it enhances the movie. It seems very realistic. I also loved the fact that they used non-celebrities to make the movie. I hope Hollywood takes more chances like these, instea...
They work off the idea that what we don't see is scarier than what we do - Bravo! No special effects. No cats jumping out of closets. No monsters. Just our own worst nightmares working against us. Scary shit.

Season 1 was on sale and I bought it on a whim (had heard of it, but hadn't seen it—I get Netflix instead of cable). Watched the entire season that weekend! Reading the books now and can't wait to catch season 2 when it comes out on dvd.
